Racquet’s 2018 ‘Transit’ Tour Is On Its Way

Preface: Racquet Film is a film development and processing lab in Brisbane, Australia. They develop and sell 35mm film, 120, 220 and more. Racquet Film offer high quality photo prints, have a gallery and are Australia’s largest dedicated analogue space.

After an absolutely huge entrance into the marketplace, the Racquet conglomerate – which now consists of both Racquet Studio and Racquet Film, Australia’s largest photo agency and film lab respectively – are going on tour again for the first time in just over a year. Their 2018 tour commencement date is TBC, however the team will travel up and down the East Coast of Australia, with various photographers creating content for labels and brands alike, and Brescia Photo – the staple of Racquet’s lab division – heading up the tour.

Labels and brands are still being confirmed for the tour, though alumni for Racquet tours include Wrangler Denim, Volley Australia, TOPDECK Travel, Capi Sparkling, Sunday Somewhere, Afends, Arnhem and plenty more staple brands in the Australian and international realm. The 2018 tour is expected to be the largest yet, with Felipe Posada (NYC) – known more widely as ‘The Invisible Realm‘ – creating the artwork for the project.

Unlike past tours, this journey, titled ‘TRANSIT’, will end in a gallery at Racquet Film showcasing all the best images we’ve taken along the way, with a nice charitable aspect to the venture. Spots are strictly limited and filling fast, but if you’re a brand or label and would like some of the most amazing imagery to accompany your success in 2018, TRANSIT is a perfect place to start.
