Many of the cameras we stock come in a variety of colours and have variations. For simplicity's sake - particularly given how large our catalogue has become - we've kept it as 'bare bones' as possible. With that said, Racquet's store and the entire concept that propelled it forward was centered around customised product sales.
As such, if you see something you like and want it tweaked, don't be afraid to purchase it then let us know in the 'NOTES' or shoot us an email re: what it is you want different or specific. Whether it's a lens on the front of a nice new SLR or a 50th anniversary limited of one of your all time favourites, we'll look at the price you paid, the price of sourcing, and go from there.
Plenty of times, people end up with partial refunds. For example, those who prefer silver over black (which is usually the less pricier of the two colours) will get a nice little surprise at the end of it all!
Racquet Film test all items and only sell goods of the highest quality. Our proven track record allows full consumer trust when purchasing items off our website, however Racquet Film’s primary sales involve goods that are used and vintage, often with electronic components, meaning sudden failure is a posibility at any point of time, irrespective of maintenance, upkeep, pre-sale evaluation and otherwise. With that said, all of the above give film camera buyers the highest possible chance in buying a camera that will last a significant amount of time and serve them well.
We have a 7-day return policy for goods that arrive faulty or are significantly different to the item you ordered. We ask that all customers shoot a test roll immediately after receiving their goods. Doing so means you can drop it off at our lab (we will process for free with priority) or another lab and receive photos that show the camera is operational. In the extremely rare times in which a camera arrives with a default of some kind, please notify us immediately using our firstname.lastname@example.org email. We ask that you include the following information in correspondence:
- Name order was placed under.
- Order # (found on confirmation PDF)
- Detailed explanation of issue.
- Any photos that assist us in reviewing the case.
- Whether you would like a refund, replacement or other.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. We will assess the information you have provided, the amount of time elapsed since you received your order and a number of other variables – including inspection to ensure the item was not damaged by the customer in anyway, causing the issues that have prompted the return. Once
your return is accepted, we’ll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Items that are brought into store without completion of the above process will also be rejected and the client will be required to submit their return using the above process. Please note: once a return is received by us, we review it and will issue a refund via the payment method you used to originally purchase the item. Please allow 5-7 working days for funds to clear and contact us if there appears to be an issue pertaining to the return of your funds.
Exceptions / Non-returnable items.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards or custom items or bundles that we curated specifically upon your request.

As per Racquet Film's store policy, Racquet operates as a medium to provide high quality film cameras direct from large-scale distributors we've grown close to over our decade in film. In doing so, Racquet Film's website showcases a wide-range of stock. The stock displayed may represent an item (a) currently in stock at our Milton HQ, (b) an item we have sold previously and can source again with great simplicity and/or (c) an item that is abundent across our networks. As such, the processing times of any given item can vary from 12 hours to 7 business days. The fact that we also test - in-house, means a lab technician has to spend an extra 45 minutes reviewing your camera prior to its passing toward dispatch. You will be kept in the loop along the way and - should any changes occur - you will be informed as soon as Racquet Film are able to.
